We created a Facebook page for our production company and for our opening, so far, Sam and I are the only ones who've liked to it I'd say that we'll be in Hollywood at some point in the near future.

The re-shooting
We looked through the footage and noticed that the last scene needed to be re-shot. We used my dads room at my house and we neglected to make the misc-en-scene look acceptable for the shot and only used one camera angle, so for this we've decided to make the room look slightly more like a "drug house" and to use more camera angles for us to use to edit in the long run.

Flatbush Zombies
After looking at the other soundtrack and how it fitted with the footage we shot, we didn't feel that it linked to it, also in the other soundtrack there was someone shouting and that was something we couldn't get rid of, so it was easier to just change the soundtrack as a whole, we decided on this instrumental of a song because it's a more of a chilled out song, and it also it has a lot of bass throughout it and we found it far more fitting for what we wanted to create with our footage we shot.

First edit of Ignotus
This is our first edit of Ignotus, we used Windows Movie Maker to create it and flicked between the two different scenarios, I believe it came out reasonably well for a first edit

The music!
As I know a few people who DJ and make tracks with software such as Logic Pro, I asked one of my friends if he had any tracks that we could use for our opening scene for a "chav scene" as I put it, and he responded with this, as we also suggested if it could be with low bass. We believe this one will best suit our audience

Props

We figured out that it would be a struggle to get out hands on some syringes just for an opening, plus it would have been a waste of the money that we really didn't have, so we came up with a solution in which we would have been able to avoid the problem with, so we gathered some syringes, bobble headed pins and some tape to cover up the logos on the side of the syringes
We used some blue tape to cover up the logos on the side of the syringe, we didn't want any fuss or trouble with the company who made them and this was far easier than asking them if we can use their product in our movie, a quick and easy solution.
There was a spot of bother with this step, as we had to somehow get a syringe through a hole where we had no control of but no matter! We managed to get the pin through the hole and we successfully made our syringes!

Props, and their production!
This is the production of some of the props we quickly made in anticipation for filming, we couldn't get the crystal meth idea to work which was a shame, as we failed to create the sugar glass that was needed, it just turned into some thick gloop and sadly we had to bin it, so buying some cheap salt was an easy solution to make a quick drug, and from there we decided that we'd be working with cocaine instead of the initial methamphetamine

Breaking Bad as an influence
All of us in the group have watch the hit TV show Breaking Bad, and I'm sure many other people have due to its popularity. We decided to take the drug influence as mentioned before from Breaking Bad as they use Methamphetamine as their drug in order to make money, also it strays away from mostly drug addicts creating the meth, and also them attempting to deal it, as it shows business men making and distributing the drugs around, which is what we're going to try and recreate. Also some of the camera angles in Breaking Bad are very useful and influential, such as looking upwards through a surface as people are doing things on top of it, I find this to be a very interesting and incredible angle for a camera to be at and would like to try and use this when it comes to filming our new idea. Also during breaking bad they tend to be rather silent as they create their drugs which is the atmosphere I'd like to recreate.
